Hydax hydraulics presents water filter housings. The water filter housings are suitable for flow rates up to 900 lpm and for temperatures up to 50 degree celsius as they are made of fibre-reinforced plastic [frp]. The housings are available in various sizes to accommodate cartridge filters ranging from 0" to 40" of both double open-ended [doe] and o-ring configurations, as also 3-element and 6-element models. They have a working pressure of 10 kglcm2 and are tested to withstand pressure of 20 kglcm2. In addition, a provision for an air vent and installing a pressure gauge has been made. The exceptional design of the cartridge filter housing provides for easy disassembly to clean and change the cartridges.
The special features of water filter housing are as follows:
- glass filter/epoxybonded outer layers
- pressure tested up to 20 kq/cm2
- they are available in tie-rod or bolt and nut flanged versions
- all internal components are of food grade material
- 172" bsp and 2" bsp connections for 3-element and 6-element housings
- inlet and outlet from the bottom of the housing; suitable pressure gauge port and ventport provided on the top flange;
- they can accommodate standard 62 mm od double open ended [doe] elements
- optional housings tested to 40 kglcm2 also available.
