| Gullco international offers gmb series of hi-speed portable weld joint beveling machine. This machine is excellent for beveling plates accurately at speeds up to 3 meters per minute. It can bevel carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and titanium without adding any harmful thermal effects, since the beveling is via mechanical shearing action [with a rotary cutter]. Two models are available-the smaller model is for beveling plates up to 25 mm thick [12 mm each side], with a maximum of 15 mm bevel. The larger model is suitable for beveling plates up to 50 mm thick [25 mm bevel either side]. The angles, which can be beveled, are: 22.5, 30, 35, 37.5, 45, and 50. The equipment is portable and offers tremendous advantages in terms of cost savings as the machine can be taken to the job. As the equipment does not use any thermal process, i.E., oxyacetylene, plasma, etc, for beveling, it is useful for beveling heat sensitive plates, stainless steel, and titanium. Its beveling accuracy, coupled with high speed, generates savings in consumables and time.
