| In fluidtherm fluidised bed heat treatment furnaces, heavy duty blanking dies, cutters for saw teeth, severely stretched punches for bending dies, rolling and forming dies, trimming tools, etc, can be efficiently and economically treated. A fluidised bed`s ability to operate at any temperature and its capability of maintaining absolutely neutral atmosphere provide for precise process cycles that escape the usually impediments encountered in other conventional furnace, viz, scaling, decarburization etc. A uniform temperature prevailing across all sections of the bed enables uniform heating of all surfaces and accordingly minimises distortion. The hardness levels of 62 hrc can be consistently and easily accomplished. Some of the other salient features of these furnaces include low investment and maintenance costs, ease of operation, and a clean non-polluting work environment.
