| Fluidtherm is a technologically advanced manufacturer of heat treatment furnaces, fluidised bed reactors and chemical / mineral processing plants. It is for manufacturers who require several components that need different case hardening specifications require flexible heat treatment furnaces, which are not met by conventional atmosphere furnaces. Modern continuous furnaces have been developed which are a hybrid between pusher and rotary hearth furnaces, to address the requirement of flexible manufacturing and low inventory holding. However these are useful for large tonnage requirements of multi-parts in sets with different case depths and hardness specifications. The fluidtherm flexicarb consists of separate heatup, carburising, and equalising chambers with one or more quench tanks. It is a semi continuous sealed quenching furnace designed for production requirement of more than 2 tonnes per day. Flexicarb is ideal equipment for jobbing facilities also, where a wide variety of components can be expected daily.
