Among its models is hit-8, having a max cutting dia of 160 mm, cutting length 285 mm and bar capacity of 41.3 mm dia. All hyundai range of cnc machines have high precision and power and are unequaled in their performance. The machine headstock uses a precision ground spindle, which is machined in a temperature-controlled environment and assembled in a clean room. With the latest linear guide system, extremely high productivity can be realized by the high speed, rapid travel positioning of both "x" and "z" axes at 30 m/min (1,181 in/m). The rigid tailstock is used for accurate shaft work operations. The manual tailstock body and programmable quill with live center can be positioned automatically by hydraulic power. The high speed turret indexing of 0.28 seconds insures that maximum time is spent in the cut, while idle time has been reduced. With the fully programmable tool eye and tool life management, tools can be automatically monitored for wear with data transmitted to the control for automatic compensation, thus maintaining constant machining accuracy during unmanned operation. These machines are fitted with the powerful siemens 810 d controller.
