Esab india ltd presents flux cored wires (dualshield 7100 ultra) that are tubular-type wires designed for multipass and single welding of low and medium carbon steels. These wires can be used with 100 per cent co2 gas shielding. The smooth metal transfer make easy deposition of vertical up stringer beads. Fillet contour is sightly convex with equal leg length and identical wide wall wetting. The weld metal is conformaty free of porosity for x-ray soundness. The wires perform well over rust plates and the weld metal has very high impact toughness. These wires conform to aws a 5.20 e71t-1 specifications. In addition to these, also offered are fluxcored wires for low alloyand stainless steels as well as for hard surfacing.
