Eltecks corporation presents a special silver powder, grade ep, for coating pharmaceutical tablets. As the usually available silver powders from the markets contain objectionable , inorganic and organice impurities this is really good for the ambience and the nature. Eltecks silver powder grade ep is fine, silvery shinny, lustrous, and flaky [flake size: length; 12-15 [m, breath; 5-7 [m and thickness 0.5 [m], which can be easily dispersed in the usual solvents used for tablet coating purpose. It has a purity of 99.99%, and tap density of 2.426 gms/cc. It is much more economical, safe, and convenient to use this silver powder, grade ep when compared to the presently used silver foil technique. It is available in 500 gm, 1 kg, and 5 kg packings.
