Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake

Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake

Product Category :    Electromagnetic Brakes

Supplier                :    Electromatic Engineers Pvt Ltd

Key Features of Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake

  • Requires DC voltage to release and the switching can be done on either side.
  • When electric current is given to the stator the armature plate is attracted to the stator against the spring force, thus releasing the rotor

Product Profile of Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake

Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake is used in brake motors, hoist and cranes, lifts, storage and retrieval systems, deck machinery, textile machinery, telescope for satellite tracking, tyre machinery, printing machinery, defence equipment, steel plant machinery, marble/ granite machinery, industrial presses, power operated gates, wood working machinery, industrial robotics. The Brake requires DC voltage to release and the switching can be done on either side. The Brake has the feature that when electric current is given to the stator the armature plate is attracted to the stator against the spring force, thus releasing the rotor. The Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake has the feature that when current is cut off, strong compression springs push the armature plate back to its original position, which clamps the rotor providing the braking torque.
