Desai machine tools co presents a range of universal drilling and tapping machines. The fast-drill range of drilling machines and tap-fast range of tapping machines are useful for batch and mass production. These are simple, rigid, easy to use and fast in operation. A special charectoristic of these machines is that the spindle can rotate around its main column in 360° and at the same time can rotate around its main pin in 300°. Thus the spindle covers almost all area between maximum radius of 450 mm and minimum radius of 170 mm [models us-10 and as-13] and maximum 620 mm and minimum 165 mm [model pi-16]. Drilling machine model as-13 and tapping machine model us-10 form the most ideal pair for drilling and tapping production. Jobs which can be drilled on model as-13, can be tapped on model us-10, replacing costly drilling and tapping machines, improving quality and production and replacing skilled labour by unskilled one.
