This digital resistance tester is constructed for measurement of the resistance of earthing used in the electrical equipment as well as for measurement of ground resistivity. Also for measurements of the other low regular and liquid resistances, these tester is used. It can also be used for measurement of voltage ac, voltage dc and resistance. Some of the special features and technical features include: model - ert-1501/ert-1502; backlit lcd with dual display; displays battery voltage and while measuring earth resistance; measures both earth resistance and earth resistivity; range - 0 -10/100/1000 ohms for ert-1501; range 0 - 20/200/2000 ohms for ert-1502; resistance; dc voltage; ac voltage; lock switch for hands free long operations; data hold facility; conforms to cat iii 1000v, ce; double moulded body; hard carrying case; and testing kit consisting of spikes and cables. This digital earth resistance tester finds its applications in:testing earthing installation in power based industries, telecommunication networks and electrical traction systems, etc. |
