| Arsun engineers, in bhavnagar, manufactures rradial drills - ar40 are manufactured by arsun engineers, in bhavnagar. These radial drills that have built-in rotary oil pump for continuous lubrication to feed drive mechanism.There are some of the hardware features of these radial drills which include: these drills have a wide range of eight spindle speeds for drilling, tapping, reaming and boring operations. The auto feed of the drills disengages at preset depth as well as at very high or abnormal pressure.The double column construction ensures rrigidity and effortless centring are ensured by the double column construction, whereas the generously proportioned and well adequately ribbed base-plate, inner column and arm give maximum rigidity stiffness and minimal deflection. These radial drills have base plate with built-in coolant tank and spindle sleeve that are hardened and precision ground. The splined shafts and feed shafts of the drills are nitrided, and the hardened alloy steel gears fitted on splined shafts in main drive gearbox run in oil bath. Following are some of the technical features of these radial drills which include: the drilling capacity in steel and cast iron are 40 and 50 mm, respectively. The working surface of the base plate is 1,000 mm x 800 mm and the weight of the drill is approximately 1,700 kg. The number of power feeds is 4 with range 0.05-0.2 mm/rev. The power of main motor is 1.5[2hp]/1,440 kw/rpm and for arm motor it is 0.75[1hp]/1,440. These radial drills are best suited are suitable for heavy-duty operation.
