• Add to Inquiry Basket | Arsun engineers provides offers a heavy-duty all-geared auto-feed type double-column radial drilling machine, model ar 40. This drilling machine is, having drilling capacity of 40 mm dia in solid steel. Some salient features include: its special features are easy operation, minimal deflection and it offers precision in any position due to its rigid and well ribbed construction of major parts, ie, base plate, arm inner pillar, etc. Following are some of the technical features of this drilling machine which include:the machine has a compact gearbox fitted with hardened alloy steel, gears running in an oil bath which offers 12 spindle speeds ranging from 47 to 1,230 rpm. Model ar 40 has 4 auto spindle feeds; 0.05 to 0.2 mm per spindle revolution having overload and preset depth-stop mechanism. The long ram travel of 200 mm allows deep holes to be grilled. Drilling head travel is 600 mm and arm travel is 700 mm. While double-column construction offers effortless centering is offered by the double-column construction, its wide clamping area of the base plate [1200 x 780 mm] along with ample rigidity of the machine makes it most suitable for drilling tapping and boring work within its full working range and various positions of arm and drill head. This radial drilling machine finds its applications in:user areas include: tool rooms, fabrication shops, engineering industries, machine tool builders, automobile and shipbuilding industries, railways, and defence establishments. |
