The latest world class range of 6013 mild steel general purpose electrodes is the latest product from advani-oerlikon ltd. The excel range includes xcel, xcel a and xcel aa. Xcel measures up to global standards and caters high quality welding with reliable cost efficiency resulting in savings of up to 20%. Some of the major features include welder friendly - easy to operate in all positions including vertical down position; smooth bead deposit with fine ripples; medium penetration and least spatter; radiographic quality welds; good slag removal and low smoke levels; and meets all prescribed mechanical properties. The electrodes can be used in a wide range of structural and fabrication jobs. Some of the peculiar applications of the electrodes include truck frames and bodies, steel structures and tanks, mobile construction equipment, railway wagons, ships, pipelines, bridges and many more.
