Scientific engineering corporation offers fixed proving ring type consolidation apparatus. It is used to conduct consolidation tests in order to get soil data. Three units of consolidation apparatus are mounted on a single frame. It is equipped with loading frame with loading joke and lever arm. Loading frame is capable to take 20 kg./cm and provided with counter balancing arrangement. Consolidation apparatus incorporates water reservior with tubing and connection. It consists of fixed ring consolidation cell 60 mm dia x 20 mm thick provided with two porous stone, pressure pad and cutting ring. By employing a set of weights it provides stress intensify of 10 kg/ cm2 5 x 0.1 kg/cm 2, 6 x 0.5 kg./cm2 and 5 x 1 kg./cm2. It has also dial gauge 0.002 mm x 12 mm travel.
