| Smart sensors & transducers provides a wide range of linear variable differential transducers [lvdts]. Lvdt is find its application for single and multiple point industrial gauging applications as well as micro displacement instruments in research and scientific laboratories. A wide range of models is offered so that the sensors provide the best measurements possible given the conditions encountered in the application. The sensors operate in temperature as low as -50 ºc to 125 ºc. Mechanical features include: simplicity of design and ease of installation and fabrication; wide range of displacement; frictionless movement of core; rugged construction; negligible operating force; and ability to operate over higher temperatures. Salient electrical features include: output voltage is linear and continuous function of mechanical displacement; high sensitivity; low output impedance; abiltiy to operate over a wide range of carrier frequencies; infinite resolution in output; and very low cross sensitivity. Application include: offshore, drilling, mining, marine and hydraulic application; automotive applications; diecasting machines; fossil fuel and nuclear power plant; ground attack vehicles; hydraulic and air cylinders; industrial gauging, industrial robots; injection moulding machines; material handling equipments; machine tools; weighing systems, space shuttle and simulators; punch press and press brakes; primary metal process equipments; pipeline monitoring systems; petrochemical industries, packaging equipments, missiles; military and commercial air crafts; and material testing equipments.
