| Uni-automation has introducedsupplies unilin-m, an new advanced series of linear motion potentiometerslinear transducers. Many various modern installations of automated indus- trialindustrial machine controls requirenecessitate the use of a position transducerstransducer to provide offer electrical analogue signal proportional to the position of some moving part of the installation. Position transducers position transducers are usuallygenerally retrofittedinstalled directly on the machine being controlled; hencetherefore, the transducer should be ruggedsturdy, reliableconsistent, accurateprecise and should havepossess high output. These conditions are ideally fulfilledmet in a most efficientmost cost-effective manner through the use a high performance linear motion potentiometerspotentiometeric device. The series is designed to meet industrial environments. A shaft wiper seal is standard in all linear motion potentiometersunits to remove debris from the shaft as it moves into the unit. For applications where the lmp is subjected to water, cutting oils, etc, the linear motion potentiometersunits may be orderedprepared with water resistant seals. Since unilin isfor being a potentiometer, unilin-m it is always used in a 3-terminal voltage divider configuration. For applications where the position transducertransducer is located at some distanceremotely from the measuring circuit and thus needsrequires long connecting leads, an operational amplifier [voltage follower module] can be offeredprovided. The amplifier also provides offer a low output impedance when the position transducertransducer is connected to a low input impedance measuring circuit. The entire resistance element assembly wiper is isolated from ground.
