| Radio equipment company offersmanufactures a computerised measurement system. This which is a computerised data acquisition system for sqc requirement. In this system a specially designed multiplexer card is attached to the serial port of a pc. Different types of high precision gauges like dial gauge, weighing balances, temperature controllers and multimeters, are preferably to be connected to the pc through the multiplexer card. Data acquisition through these instruments can be programmable or user initiated. The measurement system software generates tabulated reports and graphs, which includes run chart, control chart, histogram, and value of cp, cpc and sigma. And tthe analysis can be done shift-wise, day-wise, monthly, or yearly. The system can be hooked up in the lan so that all the information is available at any node in a factory. This system is mainly used byhelpful for battery manufacturers, soaps and chemicals, engineering industries, food products and packaging industries.
