| Mrk engineers offers photo electronic sensors. These consist of an emitter generating pulsed, infrared light and a receiver, which transforms the incoming light into electrical signal. By means of subsequent electronics these signals are amplified and digitised. Then the output stage is driven and switched. By influencing the optional beam, mechanical processes can be detected without contact and thus controlled, commanded, counted, etc. Diffuse sensors - in this emitter and receiver are in the same housing. The object being detected is the reflector itself. The effective beam reacts while passing object. The beam is very much dependent on the colour, surface and size of the object. Thru-scan sensor - in this emitter and receiver are separately mounted. The light beam is generated from to emitter directly to the receiver. This light beam lies only in between the emitter and receiver while the beam diameter is bigger. This sensor has models like fork type, slot type, box type, tubular type, retro-reflective type, available up to 40 metres range in metal as well as synthetic closure. Non standard sensors are also designed according to customers drawing. These sensors are used in packaging machines, conveyors, hoists, machines, tools, textiles and engineering industries for automation and control.
