Mayura analytical has introduced an efficient, high precision and accurate titrator for moisture estimation in solids, liquids and semi solids [paste]. It is a microprocessor controlled automated karl fischer kf/cod/bod titrator. It can measure moisture from ppm to percentage. It has minimum dosing volume of 0.001 ml [l microlitre]. Microprocessor helps in storing method parameters in 10 different files. Analysis can be carried out up to 3 trials per sample. Averages can be taken and result stored into file. Totally 26 analytical results can be stored into the memory. The battery backed up memory can bring back all the results and all the trials taken for averaging in analysis. It also stores the date and time of analysis along with the results. Results can be printed out even after a few days later. Results can be converted from one unit to another and printed out. Result units are ppm, per cent and mg of water. Same kf titrator can be employed for cod/bod [chemical oxygen demand/biological oxygen demand] analysis by choosing the appropriate menu. Calculations are carried out as per the choice of the menu cod/bod. Company name can be entered by the user tip to 32 characters and can be changed at will. Remarks can be keyed in up to 64 characters. All operations are observed on the 16 x 2 lines alphanumerical back lit lcd display. The key board has all alphabets, numerals and a few signs for user entry. Blank titration can be performed. This is very useful in the analysis of milk, sucrose, glues, honey, epoxy paste, etc, which are difficult to weigh.
