| Marposs supplies m 110 modular--an automated inspection system for shaft like components such as camshafts, crankshafts, etc. This automated inspection system can suit all typical dimensional and geometric gauging requirements in automatic and semiautomatic mode, at various machining stages [inter-operational as well as final inspection]. The m 110 modular has been designed for on-line automatic inspection and it can be positioned astride any type of conveyor or served by gantry. In semiautomatic mode, the system functions with manual part handling while the guaging cycle remains automatic. Besides gauging, operations like non-destructive testing, marking and segregation may be incorporated by just adding the appropriate module to the basic machine according to the requirments. Its electronic system offers many basic and optional features: static and dynamic measurement, friendly menu-driven operator interface, built-in statistical analysis, feedback signal to the machine tool in case of interoperational use, connection to the host computer or lan, and machine diagnostics, both for electronic cards and machine monitoring. In this m 110 modular, measurements are performed by means of contacts fitted directly onto the gauging cells without intermediate mechanical devices, and thus, allowing metrological lab performance to be obtained even in workshop environment.
