These encoders are supplied in single as well as multi turn designs with multiple options for data transmission, such as rs 422, pca 82, c250/c251, fibre optic, rs 485, push pull, etc. The programming can be done by pc/pt programming terminal or over the bus, with interface options available such as synchronous/asynchronous/incremental serial, parallel, analogue, profibus, cam, canopen, interbus s, etc. The typical applications of these encoders include transfer machines, machine tools, packaging industries, wood processing machines, presses, foundries, etc.
