Global tech [india] supplyoffer a flame monitoring safety related functional block, sb 10. This block sb 10 is , designed manufactured by pilz industrial automation, germany. For monitoring the flame from burner start to burner stop, sb 10this has been tested and approved for monitoring the flame from burner start to burner stop. Sb 150 finds its application in is used for burner control. It can be used to monitor a pilot/main flame from the moment it stops. Working of this monitor is given by;
1] depending on wiring it is possible to monitor whether the flame is present or absent.
2] while the flame is being monitored, sb 150 evaluates two flame monitor contacts, one nc and one no. If an error is detected, the enable output on the function block is immediately disabled and the corresponding error data world for diagnostic purposes.
3] error evaluation can be done on line via the programming device.
4] a separate block package for error evaluation is available to make the process even easier. This can be used in conjunction with a pilz display system.
5] special features: monitors the pilot/main flame; and monitors the presence/absence of the flame are various special features of this monitor.
