| Geekaysindia manufactures the fluke range of digital multimeters. The unique vcheck feature on the fluke 11, 12, 12b and 16 series multimeters allows voltage measurement irrespective of whether the meter is still in resistance/ continuity setting which avoids dangerous situations. Any voltage greater than 4.5 v across the input is read safely and the result is displayed automatically, whether ac or dc, without causing damage to the meter. Vcheck is always enabled when the meter is being used to check continuity or measure resistance. Also in the vcheck mode, the input impedance is lowered from 10 mw to about 2 kw , so that it can also be used to determine if the voltage under measurement is from a hard connection or simply due to leakage from nearby capacitively coupled conductors. Fluke 10 series are ideal for first-level electrical and electronic troubleshooting, while fluke 16 adds temperature and microamp measurement capability.
