| Elak manufactures battery testers. These battery testers are available in three different moels bt-1, bt-2 and bt-3. These battery tester is structured have been designed for testing to test 12 v maintenance free sealed lead-acid batteries from 1.2 ah, used in ups, portable tools, emergency lighting, etc. The battery testers check the voltage of the battery, under a discharge current of approximately 15 times the ah capacity of the battery, for a maximum of 5 seconds. The testers are equipped wwith a 3-1/2 digit led voltmeter, this tester is equipped which is powered by the battery under test. Ledthe voltmeter also has a last reading hold facility. The battery testers have an inbuilt timer circuit, which automatically switches off the load after 5 seconds. An electronic sensing circuit wwith 3 colour leds an electronic sensing circuit has been provided which . This circuit is connected when the load test is being performed on the battery and one of three leds blinks, giving an indication of the state of charge of the battery.
