Dr-ing n k gupta technical consultants offers spark-detection system from vibronet graf gmbh & co kg, germany. Due to the high speed of milling equipment, heavy showers of sparks can be gener- ated instantly when metal or stones enter the mill or when me- chanical parts are damaged. This system automatically detects sparks in pneumatic conveying systems, piping/gravity spouting systems and in cyclone and filter systems, allowing immediate stoppage of all milling operations. The spark-sensor can detect infra-red radiation in the 400-1,200 nm range, sensing at a o viewing angle of 110 . The system can withstand an ambient tem- o perature up to 70 c. The control panel receives and processes signals from the spark, smoke or heat sensors. Free-potential contacts are available. The panel is in a dust-proof enclosure suitable for severe industrial surroundings. Maintenance-free batteries assure uninterrupted protection up to 20 minutes in case of power failure. The system is easy to install and to maintain.
