The mdm- 11 is a muxi demux system, which accurately transfers aanalogue information is transferred by mdm- 11 which is a muxi demux system via a pair of wires. The multiplexer unit [m- 11] accepts uup to 16,4-20ma process current inputs is accepted by the multiplexer unit[m-11]. The multiplexed inputs are transferred to the demultiplexer unit [dm- 11] at a scan rate of up to 1000 channels/sec to a distance of up to 2 km. At the de-multiplexer, tthe current outputs are reproduced in the same order and magnitude as the inputs, at the de-multiplexer. The de-multiplexer unit is suppliedprovided with an alarm [flashing led and dry contact output] which is activated whenever there is any interruption in communicaton due to multiplexer failure, cable discontinuity or short-circuit. The demultiplexer system permitsallows a considerable reduction in cabling for a new installation or expansion of analogue data transfer capability in an existing installation. Both m- 11 and dm- 11 are housed in a polycarbonate plastic enclosure. This plastic enclosure which can be mounted either on a standard din rail or on a wall using screws. This demultiplexer system it has a typical accuracy of 0.1% and offers a 3-year warranty.
