| Bombay instruments has introduced bimco acrylic rotameters. The rotameters are precision machined from clear acrylic block, having taper bore and a float to indicate the flow. Acrylic is a highly stable and chemically resistant material and is unbreakable. These rotameters are with a low range of 0.01 to 350 lpm, suitable for air or gases, 15 cc to 300 cc per min and 0.2 lpm to 15 lpm for water or liquids. The higher range rotameters are available for 350 to 3,000 lpm, suitable for air or gases, and 15 to 200 lpm for water or liquids. While the metering body is of acrylic, the wetted parts are of ss, brass, pvc, teflon or mild steel, and the floated are of ss, teflon or pvc. O-rings are of neoprene or teflon and the pressure rating of these rotameters is normally up to 100 psig. Glass tube rotameters are used for corrosive material available with all moc and required ranges and metal tube rotameters are available for high pressure, temperature and opaque liquid which can give digital output with totaliser of liquid flow.
