The pipeline radiography crawlers are useful for offshore and on-shore radiography across country pipelines. The iris pipeline crawlers are equipped with panoramic type x-ray generators or gamma-ray projectors for pipe welds radiography. Some of the salient features of these iris pipeline crawlers and the x-ray generators include work on built in chargeable batteries; remote controlled movement of the crawlers from outside the pipeline with help of remote; hand held pilot transmitter fitted with cesium-132 isotope source of 20 milli-curies; iris crawlers available in two sizes of iris-6 for radiography of pipes of diameter 6" to 18" and iris-10 for pipes of diameter 12" to 60". The company supplies options of x-ray equipment or gamma-ray projectors that can be selected and fitted to the crawlers as per individual job requirement. These iris pipeline crawlers are available with technical specifications as per the models including iris-6 model for 6" - 8" pipe diameter, 16 mtr/min speed, 16º admissible slope, and 160/3 x-ray tube kv/ma; iris-10 model for 10" - 60" pipe diameter, 13 mtr/min speed, 22º admissible slope, and 225/5 x-ray tube kv/ma; iris-20 model for 10" - 60" pipe diameter, 13 mtr/min speed, 22º admissible slope, and 300/5 x-ray tube kv/ma.
