| Progressive instruments has introduced the veego range of instruments and equipments that are used in laboratories, and pharmacuetical and chemical industries. The tablet disintegration apparatus, model vdt-3, is designed for accurate estimation of disintegration time of tablets according to ip/bp/usp standards. It is perfect for quality control and r&d labs in pharmaceutical industries. Two stainless steel housings for holding two beakers each of 1,000 ml capacity are fitted, permitting to do the test on two batches of six tablets each, simultaneously. A superior quality, constant speed sturdy motor drives two brass bars to move up/down at constant speed. Strokes are adjusted according to ip/bp/usp standards. The unit is offered with two baskets each with six, glass tubes, six guided discs and clamps. The baskets suspended to two bars move up/down with each stroke in the beakers containing liquid media at constant temperature. Alternative versions with single basket and digital display also come.
