Valfit engineers has brought in a uv water sterlizer with the following characteristics: they are in-line units uniquely designed according to latest technology, manufactured with precision, very simple and easily operable, easy to install and requiring almost nil maintenance and operation care. They are available in various models with capacities of 100, 500, 1500, 3000, 5000, 7000, 10000, 12000, 15000, 18000, 21000, 24000, 30000 litres per hour. Uv water sterilizer is a simple and most practical device for killing disease-causing micro-organisms like bacteria, viruses, yeasts, moulds and algae, etc, without use of heat or harsh chemicals. The final product remains devoid of foreign taste and odour or corrosive allergenic properties. This is a far superior method of sterilization than conventional chlorination technique.
Specifications: withstands a maximum line pressure of 7 kg/cm²; based on quartz technology; imported thick gauge quartz enclosures used for uv lamps, special accessories like uv monitor, flow control system, audio alarm system, solenoid valve, etc, are optionally provided as per specific customer needs. .
The uv lamps are located in the middle of water flow in the sterilizing chamber so as to give a through exposure of uv rays to water. Imported powerful ultra violet lamps, germicidal type of 254 nm wavelength are used. All models work on 230 v, 50 hz, 1-phase, ac supply. Each model is designed to give uv energy dose in excess of 30,000 micro-watts sec per cm².
