The emkay colloid mill is useful for homogenising emulsifying, dispersing, mixing, and comminuting applications of liquids to highly viscous products. The colloid mill comes with the operation based on rotor-stator principle and is available in plain as well as water jacketted model suitable for heat sensitive products. Coupling between motor shaft and rotor shaft for ease of maintenance.
Three oil seals between the motor and processing chamber to prevent liquid going in motor winding, resulting in burning of the motor.
Modified design of semi concave teeth in rotor and stator reduces motor hp and gives better performance in size reduction without damaging the product.
Extended bearing clearances or backlash to avoid metal-to-metal contact of rotor and stator. The unique design of the colloid mill provides smooth and consistent all round performance and long life of rotor and stator.
Leak proof neoprene sealing device.
Three way cock system for draining and recirculation of liquids provided as standard. Extra discharge spout as a standard for viscous products.
Dol starter with overload relay for protection against single phasing and low voltage.
Easy dismantling of contact parts for cleaning.
Special design facilities adjustment of grinding gap by an exterior screw by handle during operation.
Flameproof motor and flameproof rotory switch on request at extra cost.
