| Unity marketix offers tapping machine. The tap-fast is a universal type tapping machine that are available in three models for tapping holes from 2 to 20 mm. They are very useful for batch and mass production. These machines are rugged in design, easy and fast in operation, and user friendly. Special feature is, spindle can rotate around its main column in 360° and at the same time can rotate round its main pin in 300°. Advantages over conventional tapping system: as tapping spindle is movable there is no necessity to move the job. Hence more than one hole can be tapped in one setting without moving the job. Special clutch system acts as an overload protection and reduces breakage of taps. Job can be clamped, so that it is easy to operate by both hands. Reversal of the spindle is extremely smooth and without jerks due to low inertia of the masses involved. This increases the tap life. Close depth accuracy possible in blind holes. Because of the variable speed facility, the machine is more versatile for different materials and different tap sizes. It is equally suitable for heavy and light duty jobs. With the help of specially ground pitch lead screw, one can ensure fine, accurate tapped hole true to gauge size.
