| Cicet glass to glass adhesive is a crystal clear, ready to use, one part adhesive which contains no solvents. It cures in normal atmospheric conditions in a few minutes to give a tough resilient bond. It is designed for fast and precision bonding applications, and is simple to work with. Just apply the adhesive, by taking as much time as required to position parts [up to 10 minutes] and leave it untouched to set .. Since cicet is a one part system and gives a crystal clear transparent joint, it offers many advantages in the bonding of optical materials. It eliminates mixing, drying, long heat cures, messy catalysts or activators and clogged dispensers. It gives fast cure, long shelf life, strong bond to glass and ceramics and gap filling properties. Curing time is remarkably fast and depends on area and thickness applied. Two dissimilar glass material with different coefficients of expansion can be easily bonded together. It also can be used for joining glass to ceramics and a few other metals. It is heat stable and thermal shock resistant up to 400 0c. It is oil resistant and chemical resistant to dilute and concentrated hydrochloric, nitric and sulphuric acids. It is odourless, non toxic and non hazardous. Typical applications are interior decorations, making fish tanks, glass shells, glass decicaters, fixing luxury bus window handles, repairs of costly laboratory apparatus and many more. The shelf life is six months at room temperature if kept in original container. The company offers 100 ml pack for trials at nominal cost.
