this houses a rotor which carries permanent magnets for field and out put coils in the outer. The salient poles of the stator carries out put coils which are connected in appropriate manner to cater to the electrical needs of the motorcycles like, battery charging, head light, tail light, horn, trafficators etc.
the alternator can be a multipole design and electronic ignition configuration can also be designed and supplied. The specialty of this alternator is low inertia, high output at low engine speeds. These alternators can be supplied with suitable regulator and rectifiers.
