Bmg friction drop hammers presented by basant industries vary from 500 kg to 3000 kg capacity. The anvil block made of high-grade grey cast iron weighs approximately 20 times the weight of hammer tup. The pillars of high quality cast steel, heavy-duty design with heavy and wider base properly matched with the anvil for better stability and locked with taper wedges. Slides are of superior quality forged alloy steel material duly grinded and properly matched with tup and fitted on columns with hi-tensile nuts and bolts. The tup, it is made of high-grade alloy steel cast, duly stress relieved and normalised, properly scraped and matched with the guide ways. Die holder is made of high-grade steel forged alloy properly matched with the anvil surfaces and locked with taper wedges. Technical specification: size of the hammer - 500 kg; weight of tup - 600 kg; distance between slides - 450 mm/17 inch; stroke max - 1570 mm/62 inch; max weight of top die - 155 kg; tup front to back - 430 mm/17 inch; total height of machine - 5590 mm/18-6 ft-inch; gross wt - 22 tonnes; and motor - 1440 rpm/ 30 hp. Application: for accurate fitting applications.
