| Bangalore-based airstream systems private limited manufactures unit dust collectors in two types. Both are of compact design, with different components such as centrifugal fan, the cyclone or the fabric filter bag, with the manual shaking device and the dust container housed together to occupy minimum space. Readymade legs, on which each unit rests, are provided to facilitate easy installation. The salient features of the product include:* easy installation * high collecting efficiency * minimum space requirement * simple manual dust disposal arrangement * eight different directions of clean air outlet a dynamical type unit dust collector is appropiate for collecting dry dust. It is being successfully utilized in small dust extraction systems for preventing dust nuisance from various operations like turning, grinding, polishing and milling. Due to suction created by the fan, dust-laden air penetrates the cyclone and the dust is separated from the air by centrifugal force. The comparatively clean air is exhausted through the fan outlet and the separated dust is collected in the dust container provided at the bottom of the unit, from where it is manually disposed. Another type of unit dust collector with fabric bags for smaller dust extraction requirements is suitable for collection of fine dry dust. This unit has resulted to be most suitable for prevention of dust hazards in many process industries such as leather, sugar and grain handling.
