• Add to Inquiry Basket | It consists of 3 filter systems in one. The unit is dispatched in pre-assembled condition in order to avoid any installation errors. The entire system is mounted on a bracket and can be easily mounted on a wall. The control box can also be mounted separately close by. It can be connected to a 230 v ac 50 hz supply.
The filter is wall mounted and connected to overhead tank from where a pressure of 3 kg/sq.Cm can be had. The water is not stored in the filter and passes out of the 3 systems automatically. The first filter is a 10-micron filter woven cartridge. Water passing through it is cleansed of all dust particles up to a size of 10 micron. If the water is too muddy it is advisable to pre-filter it. The second filter is an activated carbon cartridge, which eliminates any smell, dissolved gases, chlorine and other chemical contents. The carbon cartridge has a porosity of 5 microns.
The water then flows to an ultra violet filter section, which consists of 2 nos. Ultra violet lamps. The ultra violet radiation from these lamps eliminates microscopic pathogens such as bacteria and virus. Thus the water is filtered 3 times. The capacity of the filter is 400-500 liters per hour. The maintenance of the filter consists of periodic backwash and changing of 10-micron cartridge, carbon cartridge and uv lamps.
The uv lamps are voltage sensitive and require a voltage stabilizer of 16 w. They have a working life of 3000 hours. Uv radiation is extremely dangerous and is not to be seen by the naked eyes. Proper maintenance and periodic checks ensures a good life for the system.
