| Vartsila offers direct acting pressure reducing valve with balanced seat which can protect household water installations for industrial or commercial applications. Damage to the installation caused by pressurization and water consumption can be reduced by the use of pressure reducing valve protects. These spring-loaded pressure reducing valves operate by force equalizing system of a diaphragm against the force of an adjustment spring. If outlet pressure and diaphragm force falls because of water drawn and then greater force of spring causes the valve to open. The outlet pressure is incresed until the force between diaphragm and spring are equal again. The inlet pressure has no influence in either opening or closing of the valve and thus do not influence the outlet pressure. Direct acting pressure reducing valve with balanced seat have technical specifications such as water and compressed air medium; maximum 20.0 bar inlet pressure; 1.0 - 6.0 bar outlet pressure;1/2-inch to 2-inch connection size and screwed end connections. The company also supplies special versions are available with built-in filter or without on request.
