Micron international manufactures blister packaging machines with the following features: high speed [up to 25 cycle/min]; no edge trim waste; unique two stage sealing; and inexpensive tooling. These are suitable for pharmaceutical and toilet preparations; tools; hardware sundries; photographic equipment; munitions and batteries, stationery products, auto spares and accessories and numerous diy products. The system automatically feeds the foil material from reel stock, forms and separates the blister, transfers it to sealing jigs, place backing card [or foil] on the blister, heat seals the package and finally transfers the complete pack to end of line. The product may lend itself to automation. Optionally, conveyorised sealer can be supplied as a standalone, high speed fully automated system.
