| Sew heavy-duty lathes provide optimum performance and versatility as required by a large range of industries. These model 2460 heavy-duty cnc lathes are applicable for general-purpose machine shops, mining industry, paper mills, power utilities, ship repair and petroleum industry. The company has a mission to provide precision, innovative and quality-assured lathes that help in increasing production capacity and maintain high accuracy. The model 2460m heavy-duty cnc lathes are integrated with reputed make equipments for better service. The lathe comes with siemens sinumerik 802d controller as an industry standard for turning operations with salient features like easy set-up and programming by g codes or sinumerik; graphical support for cycle and contour programming; and quick and easy measurement of tools and work pieces. Head stock and spindle of cnc lathes come with features like solid box-construction casting for excellent rigidity and heavy accurate cutting; hardened and precision ground gears in the headstock; spindle supported by high precision roller bearings; auto lubrication system equipped for headstock gears and spindles; and automatic changeable spindle speed ranges with pre-programmed switch. The cnc lathe is also provided with s code that is used to command infinitely variable speeds. Bed/guide ways in the model 2460 cnc lathes are provided with properties like bed constructed with high tensile one-piece meehanite bed casting; casting is stress relived, induction heat-treated and precision ground; and provides excellent stability and rigidity. Carriage and cross slide of the cnc lathes come with turcite b lining applied on cross slide and carriage to reduce friction; precision ball screws equipped in x and z axis; z axis ball screws protected by ms steel guarding to prevent from water rusting and damage by chips; horizontal 4-way tool [h4] post or vertical 8 [v8] position turret option. Hand wheels of the lathes are available with features like large size hand wheel with positioning display at control console for accuracy and repeatability demanded by tool room applications. Tailstock of the cnc lathes are precision bearings equipped on the spindle of built in tailstock quill; heat-treated and precision ground quill; and mt#5 [2000, 2400 series]/mt#6 [3200 series] deadcentre or livecentre for small work piece and extra chuck mounted on tailstock.
