Gujarat lathe manufacturing co supplies panther brand all geared lathes in 1350 and 1650 series. Lathe bed is fabricated of close grain grade-20 castings and is duly flame hardened and ground. All geared headstock gives 8 spindle speeds having range from 45 to 938 rpm. Headstock gears are manufactured from special alloy steel and are duly hardened and profile ground. Headstock spindle is manufactured from special alloy steel, induction hardened and precisely ground to close tolerances. It is placed on two taper roller bearings on front side and one cylindrical roller bearing at rear end. The lathes come in 4 models with center height of 177 mm and 215 mm with admit between centers of 540 mm, 1000 mm and 1500 mm.
