| Kat controls manufactures model sta-15 mains frequency spark testers. The testers are useful for testing insulation or sheathing of cable during extrusion and winding processes. The mains frequency spark testers are capable of performing non-destructive integrity testing on all insulated cables detecting pinholes, cuts, slits, bare patches, etc. The company provides the mains frequency spark testers in a wide range of models i] model sta-15 - 0.5 kv to 15 kv ac rms at 50 hz; and ii] model sta-25 - 0.5 kv to 25 kv ac rms at 50 hz. These mains frequency spark testers are available with salient features like mounting stands; adjustable electrode centre height between 750 mm to 1200 mm from ground level to suit cable line height; sturdy, rugged mechanical structure and trolley type arrangement to move/ shift easily from one line to another. These spark testers find applications in up to 200 m/min low line speed applications on sheathing lines, rewinding lines.
