| Associated technocrats offers linear scales. It is designed with five bearings on the slide for superior repeatability, high slide, accuracy and long service life. The scale frame is manufactured from anode treated aluminium alloy. The scale head alloy is hard chrome treated for corrosion resistance. The signal wires employ a multiple layer braided net and are guarded with stainless steel shades for waterproof and anti-interference performance. The dust guard and rubber lips are made up of high quality rubber for superior resistance to wear and scratching. They provide minimum friction for the scalehead travel. Integrated construction, excellent dust & water proofing give good performance and long service life. Installation, maintenance & repairs are easy. Specification: pitch of line grating : 20 microns reference signal : std: abs reference signals are provided at the center of the measuring length and 20mm to each end. Optional: abs reference signal is provided every 50mm on the range of the measuring length. Accuracy : +/- 5 âµm/mtr/ deg c at reference temperature of 20 deg c response speed : 50 m/min [abs: 10m/min] permissible temperature : during operation- 0 deg to 50 deg c during storage- 0 deg to 70 deg c std length of braided cable : 3.5 mtr for less than 1000 mm and 5 mtr for more than 1000 mm. Max. Permissible cable length : 20 mtrs operation principle : transparent interference.
