Indmech industrial corporation manufactures sms hardness tester in six categories which opeartes in two measurement like rockwell by direct reading and brinell done by using brinell microscope. A conversion table is given in the instruction manual for getting quick readings. The loading application is done by means of proportionate weights and lever with a hand or load selector and is controlled by dashpot mechanism which avoids shock or jerk. These hardness testers do not need any outside motive power and are equipped with automatic zero setting device. The company also offer testers with or without load selector conforming to iss, din and bss standards.
