Udeyraj & sons offers variable voltage auto transformer, called reguvolt. It uses round strip wound core of suitable lamination grade to obtain smooth voltage control from loads of 0.7 to 600 amps. Reguvolt comes with motor drive with a 240 v ac synchronous motor of 60 rpm speed and reversible facility and can be stopped without overrun. The time taken for full sweep is 15 to 30 seconds. Reguvolt comes in air cooled and oil cooled models with a choice of open panel mounting or portable type put in an elegant sheet metal cabinet complete with output terminals ready to use. It can also be connected with limit switches on both starting and end points to feed contactors or relays or any electrical components.
