It finds applications in all electrical installations in dry and damp interiors, especially in industrial environments and open air. These are useful as power, measurement, sensing and control cables in machines and tools, engineering, power stations, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration installations, office machines and data processing installations. These are suitable in all areas where there are fire hazards and also in all installations where many people or high property value are concentrated. Since in the event of fire only very low corrosive values are measured in the fire gases, also the absence of halogens in the materials prevents the formation of poisonous gases, and dioxins; these cables are environment-friendly. Therefore apart from avoiding considerable properly damage to buildings and installations because of the formation acid during combustion, the human life and environment are protected. These cables are suitable for process plants, machinery, plant construction and high rise buildings where safety is of farthest concern. Salient features are: these multi-core control cables are extremely oil-resistant, widely resistant to chemicals, robust and extremely flexible. These products prevent fire from spreading under the local action of flames. The amount of gas and smoke produced is minimum. Corrosive substances or gases are not release. Halogen-free single cores of lapp kabel comply with the har-standards as well as include a better flame protection 9 [as per iec 60332.3 in addition to iec 60332.1] and a higher temperature range [up to +110°c instead of +90°c].
