Various advantageous ffeatures of digital gas monitor include: continuous monitor and readout; lcd display; compact and light weight; audio and visual alarm; and rechargeable battery with charger. The model is used in detectingful to detect gas in ppm [parts per million]/% [percent-age} powered by standard 9v and [1.2v x 4] 6v rechargeable battery. This gas monitors find their applications in: refineries, nuclear facilities, storage tank, drilling rigs, drilling platforms, paper mills, sulphur plants, pipe lines, dye works, sewage plants, utility manholes, chemical plants, tunnels, mines, tanneries, etc. Some of the hardware features of the digital gas monitor include: the digital lcd gives easily legible continuous reading. There is visual and audible alarm at desired gas concentration levels. This gas monitor providesit provides low bat- tery indications when battery is low. The remote sensor cable assures hhigh accurate measurement is assured by the remote sensor cable at high depth vessels and for manholes without approaching hazardous zone. Technical data of the gas monitor include specification: detecting principle - semiconductor; gases to be detected - hydrogen, general combustible, toxic gases; detectable range - ppm/percentage; response time - less than10 seconds; read out-3-1/2 digit lcd display; alarm method - audio/visual alarm; warming up time - approx 90 seconds; low batt - continuous low batt indication when battery is low; and power source - 9v battery and [1.2v x 4] 6v rechargeable battery. |
