| Okk, japan, manufactures cnc vertical machining centre, model vm4, marketed by sanki machine tools. These are suitable for use in die and mould making industry. The machine is highly accurate and provides excellent cutting performance. The machine also provides powerful 2-gear, high torque spindle for-heavy duty cutting. The machine has very rigid construction. Using sturdy square guideways, smoother cutting performance is attained. Atc has tool change time of 1.5 second. The machine is provided with fanuc 18 mc cnc control system. It has standard spindle speed of 6,000 rpm and 8,000 rpm can be provided, as an option. Hq control is given as standard. Using this control, the workpiece can be machined at higher speeds without deformation. This feature increases productivity. Soft scale is provided as standard. Optionally, tdc fuzzy for thermal displacement compensation, spindle head lubricant temperature controller, lift up chip conveyor, nc rotary table, pallet changer, etc, can be provided. The traverses of the machine are x 630 mm, y 4 1 0 nun, z 460 mm. Maximum weight that can be loaded on the table is 500 kg and the spindle tapes is bt 40. The spindle motor is ac 7.7/ 5.5 kw.
