• Add to Inquiry Basket | Conmos impex supplies double column vertical machining centre series sdm from sanco. The sdm series is specially manufactured to handle heavy hogging on large oversized workpieces and caters the precision that is needed for aerospace and die mould applications. The sdm series provides 1,700 to 6,000 mm travel for x-axis. The sdm series has spindle speed of 4,000 rpm with bt-50 spindle taper and maximum spindle horsepower output of 30 hp with two-speed gearbox transmission for high torque output on 4,000 rpm and optional 6,000 rpm spindle that is needed for heavy metal removal. The sdm guideways on x- and y-axis, and hardened and ground boxed ways for z-axis to provides machining accuracy. The y-axis design of sdm series has three roller guideways, which help to increase the cutting rigidity when the spindle is fully extended to the table. Apart from that the headstock supported by a counter weight system that provides smooth z-axis movement required simulated through fem analysis to achieve optimal rigidity for all machining direction. The machine has double spiral type chip conveyor system, which automatically discharge the metal chips to a centralized area and increases the efficiency of operation. |
