| Glaves corporation, established in 1977, is a high tech manufacturing company involved in the manufacture and resharpening of cutting tools used mainly in textile and polymer industries. Rotary cutter manufacturing is a hi-tech work requiring advanced technology and a set of precision computerized machine tools. The company manufactures and resharpens the following types: 1, stellited rotors - these are most popular and universally used for all types of chip cutting. Stellied edges are repairable by material deposition. Used for wet as well as dry cutting they give better life as compared to through-hardened rotors. 2. Wedge lock rotors - expensive but only solution for cutting of very hard and abrasive polymers. Cutting edges are mostly made of tungsten carbide and are replaceable if damaged. 3. Through-hardened rotors - these are low cost solution for palletizers cutting soft materials. They give good life but are prone to chipping of cutting edges and rusting if run wet. Brief specifications: sizes - up to 400 mm dia and 1400 mm length; materials - tungsten carbide, stellite, tool steel, stainless steel, etc; and configurations - any possible number of teeth, any helix angles.
